To promote a flexible workforce, the University will consider applications from individuals seeking full-time, part-time, job share, or term-time only working arrangements.

As part of the continued development of psychology at Aberystwyth University, we have introduced a new degree scheme combining psychology with counselling. We are seeking inspirational colleagues with appropriate expertise and experience in counselling and related disciplines to coordinate and shape this scheme for the future.

If successful, you assume scheme coordination duties for our BPS-accredited BSc Psychology with Counselling scheme. You will enjoy considerable scope to shape the direction of the scheme in line with your professional expertise. You would be joining a diverse, vibrant and dynamic department that focuses on delivering high quality teaching, and research with impact.

You will be an educator with significant experience of teaching within higher education, knowledge of BPS core domains, with appropriate postgraduate qualifications (PhD) and expertise in counselling. You may presently be an academic with expertise in counselling, or you may be a practitioner looking to take on an academic post.
