Noorharsy Taqillah is a doctor of medicine (MD) graduate, writer, and content creator who writes mostly about mental health under the name Aqillanoo. She writes with a passion for making the invisible visible and telling the stories that deserve to be heard.

Her medical background has shaped her interest in mental health, evidence-based health communication, and health technology. Through her writing and content creation, she aims to make complex health topics more accessible while keeping them grounded in research and real-world experiences.

She is particularly interested in mental-health literacy, neurodevelopmental conditions, neurodiversity, childhood and adolescent mental health, health technology, and public health. As a neurodivergent person herself, she is especially interested in improving understanding of neurodevelopmental differences and creating healthcare systems that are more responsive to the people they serve.

Coming from Indonesia, she is also interested in exploring these issues within the Indonesian context and highlighting areas that may be overlooked or misunderstood.

She is currently preparing to pursue a master of public health (MPH) in Japan, where she hopes to further develop her understanding of public health, prevention, global health, and the role of technology in improving healthcare. In the long term, she hopes to become a researcher and health-policy advocate, using evidence to inform better policies and regulations and contribute to stronger, more equitable healthcare systems around the world. She hopes to combine her medical background, public-health training, writing, and content creation to make evidence more accessible and meaningful to the communities it serves.

You can connect with her on Instagram, LinkedIn, Medium, and Substack.
