Women have come a long way in their struggle for equality, peace, and development. Considering half of the world’s population are women, the improved vision has not only oppressed and suppressed their contribution, but also their voice and their sustainability towards different stages of life, from household chores to the workplace. So, every single day other than 8th March should be an occasion to review and celebrate the significant contribution women make in the world.

Velvety origin

From the books with a soft short love story of Gulbadan and Munni, the two tender characters, to a similar dreamy story in a book by Tashan Mehta, Rulebook for creating the Universe. Here is a rulebook no girl would like to follow because she wants to feel free and leave an impression of a volcano with melting suns, instead of just being allowed to weave forests and rivers. Magical Women includes stories of women, which are full of events that left stars in their own eyes for some time, like a velvety origin.

Creative expression

For time immemorial she has worked to shape independent India even though she is denied and has remained a marginalised community. The expression and guiding hands become the creative force of the universe in almost all the expressions. Womb gives life and tender care. Her loving arms can provide succour to many at once and a simple hug could heal everything up to a broken heart.

Juggling roles

Long hours of work in a single day for shopping, cooking, cleaning, nursing, and then managing to look fresh – all the time playing the different roles, that of a mother, a wife, a daughter, a friend, a counsellor keeps her juggling it all to perfection. She relentlessly toils, being a doctor, a maid, and confidante to the children as a mother. Behind every successful man there is a woman, yes, a mother, a daughter, a friend, or perhaps a sister and some consider this as the opposite.

Superhuman multitasker

One eye on the earphone, one on the television, keeping a watch on the stove, an ear constantly on alert in case the baby wakes up, and busy mixing dough – surely this makes her a superhuman, no less than the varied valuable qualities, to look at her in awe. She is a multitasker, palm caressing your brows, and helping in quieting the fears of life.

Unconditional love – a phoenix

Guiding the goals, cajoling, and staying focused, she is the only one to stand behind like a shadow cloaked in the warmth of the success, thus rejuvenating you. She showers love unconditionally, beyond reason, forgiving you time and again, putting her ambitions and achievements back. She makes you rise like a phoenix, holding back the disappointments.

Dual personality

She may feel helpless, quivering, and vulnerable at times and then be strong in a crisis. She may cry at the drop of a hat, whether it’s a soap opera or a movie song, but there comes the time she will stand strong beside you like the Rock of Gibraltar, tall and impregnable, depicting the duality of her personality with diverse abilities that make you want to bow before her.
