- Boost confidence
- Enhance our looks
- Hair can hide other imperfections

- Gives you identity
- Makes you look young
How can losing your hair affect your life?
Losing your hair can cause mental health issues. Many people can find it extremely upsetting and depressing if they lose their hair. However, stressing can also cause more hair loss so it’s a vicious circle.
Hair loss is most common in men with it affecting 25% of men before the age of 30. As a result, the efforts to reduce the stigma and psychosocial burden of hair loss in men have been going on for decades.
However, with this being more commonly associated with men, it can have huge psychosocial impacts on women as they may feel more alienated by the ongoing changes to their hair. This could lead to further mental health issues and anxiety.
How to combat hair loss
People no longer have to endure hair loss to the same extent. There are now plenty of remedies or procedures that can help. These include:
- Hair transplants
- Prescription hair loss treatment tablets
- Wearing wigs. Modern wigs are highly realistic, so you can hardly notice
- Tattooing the body to make it look like short hairs
- Emotional support from groups designed for people with hair loss anxiety
All of these methods come at a range of different price points which means no one has to suffer. Choose a remedy in your budget and feel better about yourself and your hair.
