An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly organised and motivated qualitative researcher to join the highly successful AUECR in the role of Senior Research Fellow. The postholder will be working on a high profile research programme with internationally renowned experts, with aims to create real impact. The Unit specialises in applied health research and is working on several programmes and research studies relevant to elderly care and stroke.
The Senior Research Fellow will have expertise in qualitative research and lead implementation of components of a research programme funded by the National Institute for Health Research. The aim of the programme is to test whether personalised care planning (PCP) can improve quality of life for older people with frailty, and reduce health and social care costs.
The successful applicant will be educated to postgraduate level e.g. Masters or equivalent experience/qualification in a health or health research related subject, have experience in leading projects, undertaking and analysing qualitative research.
There is an expectation that the post-holder will be prepared to work flexibly and travel as required within the UK.
