The Unit specialises in applied health research and is working on several programmes and research studies relevant to elderly care and stroke.

The Senior Research Fellow will have expertise in qualitative research and lead implementation of components of a research programme funded by the National Institute for Health Research. The aim of the programme is to test whether personalised care planning (PCP) can improve quality of life for older people with frailty, and reduce health and social care costs.
