Triton Construction has completed a £4.4 million contract to deliver a state-of-the-art new therapy and rehabilitation centre for Delemere Health.
Delemere, which is located in six-acre grounds beside Delemere Forest in Cheshire, is the only residential retreat of its kind in the UK and treats addiction in many forms. It provides a holistic approach to care with pioneering treatment by some of the most experienced professionals in the sector.
The centre was set up by Martin Preston, who himself fought addiction to cope with anxiety and depression. His ambition was to share his experience and help others within a well-invested environment that focuses on the opportunities for leading more fulfilling lives.
Triton was appointed following a competitive tender to provide a turnkey solution for the new 32,000 sq ft centre including ground preparation, new build, full fit-out and landscaping. With a brief to deliver a facility to replicate a modern barn conversion, Triton delivered a design with the feel of a boutique hotel and focused to maximise tranquillity.
Delemere now houses 25 guest bedrooms, dining and kitchen areas, a gym and health studio, art studio, movie theatre, treatment rooms family lounges and offices. Key features include zinc pitched roof, cedar cladding and ceiling-high bi-fold doors leading to the outside gardens. Triton worked closely with the client and project architect JDA throughout the building programme to deliver the project to very exacting requirements.
Triton also delivered the entire internal fit out with full mechanical and electrical installation as well as lighting and furniture specification.

‘We are delighted with the outcome of the project which also includes a number of sustainability features such as underfloor heating, high specification insulation, zinc roofing, airtight efficiency and soundproofing.’
