Digital signage provider TrilbyTV has expanded its Content Catalogue with four new resources designed to support UK schools in delivering engaging and curriculum-aligned displays. Announced on 6th June 2025, the additions cover a range of educational and pastoral themes to help educators keep school screens informative and relevant. The update reinforces TrilbyTV’s goal of simplifying content creation while meeting diverse learning needs.
Ben Stanley, director at TrilbyTV, explained, “With our education experience, we know how busy schools are, which is why we help by building curriculum-relevant signage content they can simply click and add to screens alongside their own.” This emphasis on usability allows teachers to blend professionally developed materials with school-generated content such as student artwork or photographs from field trips.
The new catalogue resources are designed to engage pupils across a range of subjects and age groups. They include:
- Exam Tips, which offers practical guidance for students preparing for exams. This resource provides revision strategies, advice for test days, and suggestions for managing results. Its aim is to reduce anxiety and encourage effective study habits.
- Myths and Facts, a video-led series developed with Peach Wellness Academy, addresses the problem of online misinformation. Created by medical professionals and tailored to young audiences, it equips students with accurate knowledge to support both mental and physical health.
- Kings and Queens, which presents information on 58 UK monarchs. It features illustrations, key facts, and timelines, helping to make history lessons more accessible and visually engaging.
- Tech Timeline, an interactive display of major technological milestones. From the first radio broadcast to developments in artificial intelligence, the feature highlights innovations such as barcodes and the Rubik’s cube. It refreshes automatically with a new fact each time it is viewed.
Stanley noted that user input has shaped the direction of this latest update. “We’re always keen to hear customer feedback and to build new and exciting features and content around the needs of our users. The new Tech Timeline came from a school visit where we saw a display of technology over the years which inspired us. We hope schools continue to provide feedback and also feel inspired by these new additions to start generating their own great-looking digital signage content.”
TrilbyTV’s platform enables schools to add new resources to playlists, schedule displays, and approve uploads quickly and easily. This system allows school screens to remain current and useful without creating additional burdens for staff. The company brings over three decades of educational technology experience and offers solutions tailored specifically for schools, setting it apart from general signage providers.
Schools interested in exploring TrilbyTV’s features can access a 30-day free trial. The platform includes tools such as Smart Content and user permissions for managing uploads. With subscription options starting at £450 per screen annually or £1,200 for unlimited screens, it provides a flexible pricing structure suitable for schools of different sizes.
The expansion comes amid rising demand for digital signage in education as schools seek modern alternatives to paper-based noticeboards. TrilbyTV supports this shift by offering tools for more efficient communication, from broadcasting emergency messages to showcasing lunch menus. A 2024 case study highlighted its use by Transform Trust, where 26 schools employed the platform to enhance staff communication across a multi-academy trust.
Maintaining engaging content is essential for capturing student and staff attention. TrilbyTV’s catalogue helps address this need by offering content that complements material created by schools. The Myths and Facts series is a direct response to the growing concern about misinformation among young learners. Similarly, the Exam Tips resource aligns with increasing awareness of student wellbeing during periods of academic pressure.
