Traci Lowenthal is a licensed psychologist with a diverse clinical background. She is the owner of Creative Insights Counselling. Her approach can be described as “strengths-based”, in that she looks for what clients are doing right in their lives, while seeking to help them overcome any challenges they may be struggling with. Her clinical experience includes the following groups: persons identifying as LGBTQ (gender or sexually variant individuals), those living with HIV/AIDS, as well as college students, older adults and survivors of sexual trauma. Other concerns that have been the focus of Lowenthal’s works include anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationships, cancer, self-esteem, and grief.
Her area of speciality has been with persons identifying as LGBTQ, or those for whom society’s labels don’t fully articulate their varied identities. She is committed and passionate about helping individuals explore these concerns in a safe, supportive environment.
