A Fruity King spokesperson commented: “Amid the Easter fun, it may have been incredibly easy to overlook how much sugar children and adults realistically consumed. A few bites of chocolate are all that is needed to accidentally exceed your recommended sugar intake. So, for parents of young children, it is especially important to be mindful of what is actually in your child’s Easter haul.”
They added: “An overconsumption of Easter chocolate can lead to spikes in energy, mood swings, and long-term health concerns. We all must be aware of the sugar levels and encourage moderation moving forward.”
