Séverine Hubscher-Davidson is an associate professor at The Open University and a freelance writer, researcher, coach, and translator.
She holds an MSc in psychology from The Open University, a coaching and mentoring certificate from the University of Warwick, and a doctorate from the University of Bath which explored the personalities and individual differences of translators.
Her publications include a monograph entitled Translation and Emotion – A Psychological Perspective published with Routledge in 2017, and a short book, Improving the Emotional Intelligence of Translators, in press with Palgrave Macmillan in 2021.
