The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, Northumbria University seeks to appoint three new key research leadership roles: Professor in Applied Health Research; Professor in Applied Social Care Research; and, Professor/Associate Professor in Health Care. We wish to appoint dynamic and successful researchers whose expertise will complement and strengthen existing research and expertise related to health and social care. We are keen to attract individuals who can drive and enhance the best quality research, entrepreneurial activities and teaching, and actively support and encourage these among colleagues.

Candidates should have a demonstrable research expertise relevant to health and/or social care. You must hold a first degree and be qualified to Doctoral level in a relevant discipline and have leading subject expertise in an area relevant to the Integrated Health and Social Care theme with specialist knowledge gained through research activity, professional practice or consultancy. A proven ability to secure competitive research funding, deliver high quality postgraduate supervision and research led teaching within an appropriate field and a strong publication profile
