De Montfort University is seeking a full-time Research Fellow to work on an ESRC-funded research project: “Egg donation in the UK, Belgium and Spain: an interdisciplinary study”, led by Dr Nicky Hudson. You will join the Reproduction Research Group, a vibrant, interdisciplinary research group at De Montfort University, where the post will be based. Your role will be to carry out UK-based data collection and analysis, liaise with all project stakeholders, maintain records, contribute to project outputs, and organise meetings and project events. You will also be expected to participate fully in regular research group activities, including meetings, seminars, conferences and reading groups.
You will have or be close to completing a PhD in a relevant Social Science subject and have a good understanding of reproduction research and qualitative research methods. You will have specific experience of carrying out and analysing interview data. Knowledge of comparative/internationally focused research would be an advantage, as would the use of Nvivo or an equivalent data analysis package. You will be able to work as part of a team as well as under your own initiative and have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
