The MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit is seeking a Research Assistant to contribute to a qualitative secondary analysis project funded by the Wellcome Trust on sexuality and abortion stigma, working with Dr Carrie Purcell in the Unit’s Social Relationships and Health Improvement Programme. The post requires expert knowledge in qualitative analysis and social scientific understandings of women’s reproductive health. The postholder will contribute to analysis of a range of qualitative datasets from recent UK studies relating to abortion, and will be responsible for coordinating activities of the project team and advisory group. The postholder should hold an Honours Degree in a relevant discipline and have a comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge of the sexual and reproductive health field.
