Life can get chaotic, and it can sometimes seem like you’re constantly on high alert, with adrenaline coursing through your veins. While you can’t always change a particular situation you’ve found yourself in regarding your home life, work, or family, you can change how you respond to it and unwind from it. Anyone struggling to calm their minds and bodies might like to try some of the following relaxation techniques and products. 

Natural products

Sit or lie down in a quiet area and place one hand on your stomach. You can then breathe in and hold your breath for three seconds before breathing out and holding the out-breath for three seconds. Repeat this process at least five times or as long as it takes to feel more relaxed. 

Warm bath

Something as simple as a warm bath might be all it takes to regulate your mood, feel relaxed, and warm up. According to a study, routine immersion bathing seems to be more beneficial for physical and mental health than shower bathing without immersion. 

Feeling stressed and overwhelmed can be uncomfortable, and you might be eager to eliminate those feelings as soon as possible. A warm bath, journaling, exercising, and trying natural products, might be ideal options for helping you to unwind and relax when it feels like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders.
