Raquel Peel is a Postgraduate Researcher at James Cook University (JCU) in Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology with honours at JCU, and a Bachelor of Arts with double major in Art History and Music at the University of Sydney.
Her areas of research includes relationships, attachment, mental health, suicide, bullying, culture, stigma and religiosity. Currently, she facilitates student learning through academic tutoring. In past roles, Raquel has also worked as a research assistant for Griffith University, with young people in detention, and as a crisis counsellor for Lifeline. She is a reviewer for the Psychreg Journal of Psychology.
