Dr Parul Kalia is an assistant professor of psychology in the Department of Psychology at Bethany College in West Virginia. Prior to this, she was an assistant professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in India. She holds a PhD in human development and family studies, an interdisciplinary field of social science that contributes to the well-being of individuals and families across the life course. This field aims to promote an in-depth understanding of the intricacies of human behaviour and development.
She enjoys writing about a wide range of topics within mental health, psychology, and community welfare.
As a researcher, Dr Kalia is passionate about utilising her knowledge and understanding to support the harmonious growth and development of humans. She aims to bring about change in the views and perceptions of individuals so that everyone can contribute to the betterment of the world.
