Nicola McCaffrey is a Clinical Psychologist who provides a range of psychological assessment and therapy services to the English-speaking international community in Norway, and worldwide.
Nicola holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Glasgow, qualifying to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in the UK in 2008. She is also authorised to practice as a psychologist in Norway with Statens Autorisasjons Konto (SAK) for helsepersonell, and is a member of the Norsk Psykolog Foreningen.
She has worked in a variety of public and private psychological settings and have experience working with children, adolescents and adults of all abilities. She offers psychological assessment and treatment for a wide range of emotional, behavioural and psychological difficulties. He broad background of skills and experience means that it is often possible to find ways to help even when a problem has proved resistant to previous attempts at intervention.
Working and living as an expat herself, Nicola is particularly interested in finding solutions for the many challenges that can be faced while living abroad. This experience, as well as giving her the ability to empathise with her clients, gives Nicola real life understanding of the unique situations expats face.
Her ultimate goal is is to improve your well-being and quality of life, to give you the tools to ensure you get what you want out of life, and to be available for further support if you need it.
