New Study Reveals 33% of Top Fortune 500 Companies Impossible to Contact

Many Fortune 500 companies could be seen as impossible to contact, with a new study finding that 85% of the companies have no phone number on their homepage, 23% of companies have no number on their entire website and 33% make it impossible or extremely difficult to find a number, despite 76% of customers preferring phone calls for customer support. While many do offer live chats, which companies among the top 500 are most in demand for customers searching for contact numbers for customer service lines?

Customer service experts at VoiceNation took search data based on customer service and contact terms to reveal which of the Fortune 500 companies are most in demand when customers are looking for help.

Amazon tops the list with over 1.5 million searches for customer service per month

Amazon, which is the second biggest company in the Fortune 500 ranking, is the most in-demand when it comes to customer service and customers trying to contact them. With customers wanting updates on orders, lost packages, and more,. Amazon was found to have 1.5 million searches each month for customer service.

Walmart, which ranks number one among Fortune 500 companies, ranked 6th in the list, along with UPS, which ranks 37th in the list. Bank of America ranked third in our list with 550,000 searches on average per month.
