Michel Roy completed DPsy in Clinical Psychology from Université de Sherbrook in Canada. He is a french Quebecer. He worked as clinical psychologist in psychiatry for 22 years. Throughout his career, he has been interested in psychopathology and psychotherapeutic treatment from a psychoanalytic perspective.
Roy is the director of Clinic of Psychological Services at Université du Québec en Outaouais . He also coordinates the internships in the psychology programme for DPsy students at this university. He teaches the course “Ethic in clinical psychology” and is interested in ethical issues.
Since 2005, Roy serves as the president of Committee for professional inspection at Ordre des psychologues du Québec. This commitee is responsible to verify the competences of psychologists in the province of Québec.
