The stress levels of people have significantly increased over the past few years. One of the major contributing factors to it is our changing lifestyle and food habits. Stress accumulates in our body and becomes a cause for numerous physical, emotional, and mental health issues. Do not believe us? Well, think about this! When was the last time you felt your muscles being stiff, your neck and back hurting, or experiencing difficulty sleeping? Was your answer ‘often’?

Several research findings prove that a chiropractic adjustment helps increase the presence of positive hormones in your body. This includes neurotensin, cortisol, and oxytocin. All of this enables you to reduce your stress levels and feel happy and positive.

Besides neutralising the stress from the pain, it also promotes neuro-communication and a feeling of social bonding. A chiropractic session can also block the pain sensation that occurs from inflammation.
