Martyn Newman is a psychologist with an international reputation as an expert in emotional intelligence and leadership. As well as holding senior positions at leading universities in Europe and Australia, he has had many years of experience working in leadership development and management consulting across the world for clients such as Deloitte, Mars, Network Rail, Shell and Quiksilver. He is also the Executive Director of RocheMartin.
His tangible approach to leadership EQ can be found in his bestselling book, Emotional Capitalists, which is “the definitive blueprint for developing leadership emotional intelligence”.
He received his PhD from the University of Sydney and holds an MA from the University of California, Berkeley, a Masters of Psychology, and a Doctor of Psychology from La Trobe University. Newman is a captivating keynote speaker on the power of building emotional intelligence in the workplace.
