Following the birth of her little boy, Amy Hart has said she struggled initially with gaining her confidence back. “I’m not going to lie and say that it’s not hard because it is, but you should remember your body is an amazing thing. And in the grand scheme of things, you’ve got this beautiful baby, and you should feel so proud of yourself. I always ensure to tell my little boy Stanley that he’s gorgeous, and I know we’ll bring him up with unconditional love and support.”

Dress for your shape

A key piece of advice Amy has centres on dressing for your new shape: “Other than using skincare products that work for you, it’s important to experiment with what you’re wearing. After I had a baby, I didn’t know what to wear anymore.

“All through my pregnancy, I just wore spandex dresses, so I was unsure what my style was now that I was a mum. Since then, I’ve discovered wide-leg jeans and blazers that suit my new silhouette, and I feel confident again.”

Block the negative messages

Amy encourages women to take back control over any haters or trolls.

“Block any haters that dim your shine and I think it’s important to remind yourself that you don’t need to be friends with people that aren’t nice to you. Protect your own peace and surround yourself with people that uplift you!”

Follow the “Clean Girl” trend

Having products that not only look good but are doing good for your skin can help women feel more confident. Amy is a self-proclaimed former “full coverage girl”, but she has revealed the products that have converted her to the “clean girl” trend.

Amy recently shared on Instagram that she’s been using Avon’s Make-Up+Care range in her make-up routine and swears by the 3-in-1 Serum Foundation from the range, currently priced at just £8.50.

“Obviously, having my makeup done regularly by professionals means I’ve often got very full coverage, but I realised that at home, I didn’t need to be using as much, because a little bit goes such a long way. This 3-in-1 serum foundation makes your skin feel so lovely while boosting your confidence. It’s not cakey due to the split of 80% serum, 20% makeup, and as I’m looking to get my skin prepped for the wedding, it’s ideal.”

The affordable foundation has 82% active ingredients, including skin-protecting, nourishing and hydrating agents, keeping skin hydrated for up to 72 hours. This is the key to a flawless, radiant complexion with skin that looks like skin but is healthier, brighter and smoother.
