To coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week, running from 12th–18th May 2025, multi-award-winning life coach Suzanne Jenkins of Zan Life Coaching has unveiled AWAKEN, a transformative six-week online group programme tailored for women aged 40 and above. The initiative aims to guide participants from merely surviving to thriving by equipping them with the tools, structure, and support needed to craft the next chapter of their lives with confidence and purpose.
AWAKEN responds to this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week theme of Community, fostering connection among women navigating significant life transitions such as divorce, empty nest syndrome, burnout, or career reinvention. The programme includes weekly online sessions, access to a private Skool portal with session recordings and resources, and a post-programme one-to-one strategy session to help participants map out their future steps. Priced at £397, AWAKEN is designed to cultivate clarity, courage, and a sense of belonging.
Mental health challenges are increasingly prevalent in the UK. According to the Mental Health Foundation’s 2024 report, over 70% of UK adults reported feeling so stressed in the past year that they were overwhelmed or unable to cope. Women aged 40 to 60 face heightened stress due to overlapping personal and professional responsibilities, with this demographic statistically more likely to report intense pressure. The charity Mind notes that one in four people in the UK experiences a mental health issue annually, underscoring the need for proactive mental wellbeing initiatives like AWAKEN.
Suzanne Jenkins, a certified positive cognitive empowerment coach, brings 16 years of experience, three business awards, and a best-selling co-authored book to her work. Her mission is to help women outline and execute meaningful action plans to overcome obstacles, regain control, and align their lives with their core values. AWAKEN is grounded in her signature six-step coaching method, The Life Mastery Blueprint, which draws on Jenkins’ personal journey of empowerment. Her approach helps women reconnect with their strengths and quiet the inner critic that often surfaces during periods of change.
“AWAKEN is about giving women permission to take a blank page and write their next chapter with intention,” said Suzanne Jenkins. “We work together to unlock potential, dismantle limiting beliefs, and rebuild a sense of self-worth that becomes a foundation for lasting personal growth.”
Jenkins is also keen to clarify misconceptions about mindset coaching. “Coaching is forward-focused,” she added. “It’s not about dwelling on the past. It’s about stepping into your future with clarity and confidence. It’s for anyone who wants to grow, not just those in crisis.” By distinguishing coaching from therapy, she emphasises its role in empowering women to proactively shape their futures, regardless of their starting point.
The programme’s structure encourages participants to build a supportive community, addressing the isolation often felt during life transitions. The Skool portal ensures resources remain accessible, allowing women to revisit materials at their own pace. The concluding one-to-one session provides personalised guidance, helping each participant solidify their next steps.
AWAKEN’s launch comes at a critical time, as mental health awareness continues to gain traction. The Mental Health Foundation highlights that early intervention and community support can significantly improve well-being outcomes. By offering a structured yet flexible programme, Jenkins aims to meet this need, empowering women to embrace change with resilience and optimism.
