Julie Potiker is a trained Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) teacher. Kristin Neff and Christopher Germer, who trained Julie in the first cohort of 52 teachers in 2014, developed MSC. Julie has completed over a dozen courses in this field, and has an elegant synthesis of many teachings that she brings to her unique program called Mindful Methods for Life. She teaches a 6-week course, workshops, one on one lesson, and drop in guided meditation at a meditation centre she is creating in La Jolla, California. Julie has had a consistent meditation practice for many years, and has an uncanny ability to transmit this information to a broad range of people – sceptics included!
Julie holds a Bachelor of General Studies from the University of Michigan and Juris Doctor from George Washington University. You can learn more about her and her services by visiting her website. You can connect with her on Twitter @JuliePotiker.
More recently, she authored an article on Psychreg on how to be happy.
