John Perry

John Perry is Head of Department of Psychology at Mary Immaculate College in Ireland. Previously, he has worked at three UK universities. He has over 50 peer-reviewed publications, most of which concern mental toughness, stress and coping, temporal psychology, and psychometrics. Although largely a personality theorist, John has previously worked in sport psychology and published his first sole-authored book, Sport psychology: A complete introduction in 2016.

John has held positions of responsibility at the British Psychological Society, the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences, is on the editorial board of several psychology journals, and works as an associate editor. He sits on the editorial board of Psychreg Journal of Psychology.
