Inside Flipper AI DEX Aggregator Mainnet: AI Routing, One Price Feed and Split Execution

Flipper mainnet is live, and the part worth reading closely is the execution layer. Three mechanisms carry the product: aggregated liquidity, an AI pass before every trade and split execution for larger orders.

What the Flipper AI aggregator pulls together

Flipper now pulls liquidity from every venue into one place. Comparing prices across venues stops being a manual task performed in five browser tabs, because the venues arrive in a single interface.

The price side matches that: one price feed from every venue, live.

Alongside perps, DeForex opened at mainnet with four market groups: forex, commodities, stocks and indices, and both products run on the same routing layer.

What the Flipper routing layer reads before each trade

Routing is decided per trade rather than set once. Before each trade the AI evaluates five inputs. Flipper recommends the route expected to provide the best overall execution quality based on current market and venue conditions.

InputWhy It Enters the Routing Decision
RoutesThe available paths a trade can take
LiquidityHow much depth each path has
FeesThe cost charged along each path
SlippageThe price movement expected during execution
Market conditionsThe state of the market at the moment of the trade

Order size feeds into the same decision. Larger orders may be split across multiple supported venues when doing so is expected to improve execution quality and may help reduce slippage.

The venues in the Flipper AI mainnet routing set

Routing runs across the venues supported in production:

  • Adrena
  • GMTrade
  • Phoenix

The routing set keeps growing. Flipper is progressively connecting new liquidity venues on Solana and on Arbitrum, BNB Chain is included in the expansion with Aster among the venues lined up for it, and Hyperliquid is handled as a separate integration.

Custody and beta status

Flipper is non-custodial. Keys never leave the user’s wallet. That holds for every route the aggregator uses, including orders split across several venues.

Flipper is currently available in beta, and that status has a direct bearing on execution. Features, supported venues, collateral types and trading conditions may change during the beta period. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and may contain bugs, errors, incomplete functionality, delays, interruptions or other technical issues.

Execution risks stated by Flipper

Perpetual trading involves leverage and a high risk of loss, up to all collateral allocated to a position.

Liquidations, market volatility, funding payments, slippage, smart-contract failures, routing or execution errors, network disruptions and risks associated with third-party trading venues may affect positions and funds.
