There’s no hotter topic in the aesthetics world at the moment than menopause and its effect on skin, so who better to talk about it than GP, author of two books on menopause and co-founder of the award-winning skincare brand Evidence Skincare (ESK), Dr Ginni Mansberg.
The British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) is pleased to announce that Dr Ginni will take to the stage to present “Navigating Skincare During Menopause”. As all BACN members will know, aesthetic treatments are just one part of the skincare puzzle, and ongoing evidence-based skincare is the key.
This not-to-be missed talk will cover the common skin complaints women experience as their oestrogen levels drop:
- Increased sensitivity
- Rosacea flare-ups
- Dryness
- Hormonal acne
- Pigmentation
- Loss of collagen
Dr Ginni will look at what the evidence shows works in terms of topicals and how you can make the most of them in your clinic to improve client outcomes.
She will also tackle the thorny topic of whether menopausal women really need “special menopause products” in their skincare regime.
ESK is a renowned Australian skincare brand known for its scientific approach and evidence-based formulations and is now available for you to stock in the UK.
It is the brainchild of Dr Ginni and her partner Daniel Rubinstein and was born out of frustration at lack of truly evidence-based products on the market. Dr Ginni is a well-known breakfast TV presenter in Australia and was receiving numerous questions from viewers on what they should be using. She looked at the products on offer and compared them to the peer-reviewed evidence and found they were severely lacking, so she set about to make a brand that has the right ingredients in the right concentrations and formulations to ensure well-tolerated products with maximum efficacy.
10 years on, ESK offers a range of products with a track record in delivering proven results for common skincare concerns such as aging, acne, rosacea or pigmentation. And it comes at an accessible price point for clients and clinics too, with an excellent ROI for practitioners.
ESK are exhibiting at the BACN Autumn conference and would be delighted to talk with you about the range and how to include it in your offering to your patients.
Dr Ginni said, “I’m really looking forward to this presentation. Menopause and skincare are such an important topic at the moment, especially with so many so-called ‘menopause’ products flooding onto the market. It’s vital healthcare professionals understand the main changes and are up-to-date on what is proven to work so we can help our clients achieve their best results.”
