In October, Doctrin went live with its first UK customer, Lakeside Healthcare, and earlier this year, the company also expanded its operations in Norway by winning the procurement announced by the Norwegian Directorate of Health. It has made two key strategic hires to match its high ambition and expansion plans. Jesper Eriksson was appointed chief financial officer and Michael Ekelund as a chief commercial officer.
Anna-Karin Edstedt Bonamy, CEO of Doctrin, said: ‘We are of course happy to have managed to attract two talents with such a long, broad and for us relevant experience from the industry. It feels very good to have both Jesper and Michael on board as we continue to expand our business.’

Before that, he held various financial positions within the Schibsted / Adevinta Group in Stockholm, Oslo and Barcelona. Jesper will have overall financial responsibility and work closely with the CEO and the Board, contributing to Doctrin’s growth strategy.
Jesper Eriksson, CFO at Doctrin, said: ‘I am very impressed with what the team at Doctrin has created so far. It is an incredible company where everyone works towards a clear common goal, and everyone shares the same healthy values. I feel both humbled and exhilarated about the task of taking the company to the next phase together with the rest of the team at Doctrin by building processes and organization for an international growth company that will radically improve healthcare.’
Michael Ekelund, new chief commercial officer at Doctrin, has more than 20 years of international experience in sales, sales management and business development. He has experience working with B2B companies, SaaS and healthcare clients and has previously held several leading international positions at Visual Conference Group, Interoute and most recently as director of Healthcare Solutions at Office Management.
