Diablo Immortal is just around the corner, with the official release date set for 2nd June 2022. The game was originally built for mobile, but Blizzard recently announced that it will also be available for PC, which got many fans of the Diablo franchise even more excited.

The story is set between the events of Diablo II and Diablo III, and the game will be free to play. It was also reported that the fast-paced MMOARPG will be cross-platform.

Gameplay and features

Unlike previous Diablo games, Immortal will have no mana and other class-specific resources. Instead, players will have to adapt to a cooldown-based system for using their character skills.

The game will also feature a special  ‘Ultimate metre’, which will allow the use of more powerful attacks for a short period.

Outside of the main story missions, the players will be able to explore and complete random quests, collect bounties, complete challenges, earn rewards, and battle other players in competitive PVP.

For the first time ever, players will also be able to change the class of their characters and receive a new set of items for them without losing progress.

Diablo Immortal characters

At launch, the game will include six playable classes:

  • Barbarian. Probably the first class for most new players, Barbarians are all about strength and use melee weapons to take down foes. Attacks like the Hammer of the Ancients and Ancient Spear will help clear enemies quickly and efficiently.
  • Monk. Monks will use lightning-fast energy attacks, combined with mobility and swiftness, rather than brute force.
  • Wizard. Wizards are your traditional mage class that has a wide range of magic abilities like meteor attack and lightning blast. They will also have the power to teleport on the battlefield.
  • Demon Hunter. Demon Hunters are one of the trickiest classes to play with. They will look to take advantage of long-range attacks, utilising a crossbow to take down enemies. While Demon Hunters rely a lot on crossbow abilities to stun and knockback enemies, they can also use Shadow Magic and set Traps.
  • Crusader. Crusaders are the closest thing to the classic Paladin in the original games. They have skills that will protect them as well as deal damage, such as Blessed Shield.
  • Necromancer. Necromancers will use their powers over life and death to raise Skeletons and other undead. They also have a bit of magic damage, but mostly players will rely on the assistance of their undead armies.

Each character has its own system of progression and will have the ability to unlock 12 skills as they level up. The leveling caps at lvl.60, but the game will feature a Paragon system in which you can progress even further.

Character tier list

While all Diablo Immortal Characters are fairly equal, currently some of them are slightly stronger than others. And while that can change with future updates, if you’re looking to have a little bit of an advantage when starting the game, you might want to read on.

Tier A

  • Demon Hunter. The Demon Hunter has the greatest single target damage in the game. This class utilises primary crossbow attacks to deal with heavy damage at a distance. Essentially a ranger, he provides players with smooth and fast shooting. Demon Hunters, though, are quite squishy and do not have a high survivability rate. But considering all the other factors, if used correctly, the Demon Hunter can be an absolute beast in the game.
  • Barbarian. The Barbarian deals a huge single target and AOE damage. But it also comes with huge survivability, which allows him to take multiple enemies at one single time. While it’s quite straightforward and easy to play, Barbarians are slow and have a hard time escaping battles. So while this is a great all-rounder choice, you still need some skill to play it correctly.

Tier B

  • Crusader. The Crusader is a well-balanced character that has decent speed and survivability, as well as good single target and AOE damage. But that balanced nature means that it’s harder to have a super overpowered build that crushes everything in its path.
  • Monk. The Monk is a melee hero that is very fluent in dealing the damage to single targets in all kinds of cool ways. He also has decent AOE damage. The drawback of playing Monk is the long cooldowns between abilities. This requires players to be quite good and knowledgeable at the game, to play effectively as a monk. But it’s super fun, if you manage to do it right.
  • Wizard. Wizards are powerful from a distance, where they can stun and deal great AOE damage to enemies. They can also debuff foes and buff allies. Unfortunately, with high damage comes a high cost. And if you allow the enemies to get close to you, you’ll have some hard time surviving.
  • Necromancer. Necromancers have the highest utility than the other characters, but that comes at the price of lower damage. But who needs damage when you can raise your dead enemies to fight for you? The main issue with this character is the super long cooldowns, compared to the other classes. Necromancers are not weak by any means, but they do require some great timing and situational awareness, in order to be played effectively.

Diablo Immortal boosting

Diablo Immortal was initially designed to be a mobile game, and as such, you will need a lot of time and effort to create strong characters and reach the endgame.

While that is great for hardcore gamers, casual players probably won’t have the time to play the game optimally. Or the desire to get through the boring grind.

This is where boosting comes in.

If you’re a casual gamer, Diablo Immortal character boost can help you with things like:

  • Leveling your character
  • Upgrading your battle pass
  • Get a better gear quicker
  • Farm items
  • Completion of Rifts and earning unique rewards
  • Finish the story campaign
  • And crush your friends in PVP

As you can see, Diablo Immortal boosting is something that can drastically improve your gameplay experience, making the game more enjoyable than ever.
