Publications

There will be a conference proceedings publication with its own ISSN. Delegates will also be considered for inclusion in two books series with UCL Press and Libri Publishing respectively. A special issue of the journal Architecture, Media, Politics, Society will also result.

Themes

This conference seeks to explore the health of housing from multiple angles including but not limited to: design for health; healthy homes, communities and cities; the politics and economics housing; homelessness; design for life; promoting health agendas; well-being and the built environment, etc. 

Organisers

The event is part of a series being organised by an international consortium of universities and publishers including: University of Derby, La Universidad de Sevilla, University of Cyprus, Swinburne University, London South Bank University, Liverpool John Moores University, UCL Press and Libri Publishing. It is coordinated by the UK non-profit research organisation AMPS as part of its engagement with the UN Habitat University Initiative.

This particular event is organised by the University of the West of England. 

There will be screenings and talks from the Public Health Film Society.
