Christmas is a time of joy for people at every corner of the world. We get together with our loved ones, host special dinners, and give gifts to each other. Even the underprivileged receive many gifts and charities. However, we still forget about one thing – our mother Earth. As a matter of fact, we do a lot of harm if not any good by using wasting so much.
From printing one billion Christmas cards to wasting over 17 million Brussels sprouts, we damage the environment every Christmas. Our planet is in dire need of greener and waste-free Christmas, and that’s the initiative British public has taken this year.
