How to use  CBD oil to help ease the symptoms of arthritis as it’s revealed that Pamela Anderson keeps a bottle of CBD oil in her bag to take whenever she experiences pain in her hands.

Most people believe that arthritis is an old person’s disease and is entirely a consequence of ageing. If that were the case, arthritis would be inevitable – and it’s not.

In a recent interview with Pamela Anderson for a new “In The Bag” video for British Vogue, the “Baywatch” bombshell gave cameras a glimpse inside her Stella McCartney handbag, revealing she uses CBD oil for Arthritis in her hands. In addition to her makeup and dual-purpose undergarments, Anderson keeps a fan and CBD oil tucked away for less glamorous moments, she says: “I have CBD oil for my arthritis. Whenever my hands hurt.”

Arthritis is the most common cause of disability in the UK. ‘arthritis’ covers a broad range of conditions that cause joint pain and inflammation. There are around 10 million people in the UK with some form of arthritis, and it can affect people of all ages. Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis are the two most common types of arthritis, but there are many others. These include gout caused by too much uric acid in the body, and fibromyalgia, which causes pain in muscles, ligaments, and tendons.

There isn’t a cure for arthritis, but medication and physiotherapy can help improve symptoms. CBD has already been utilised to ease and assist many health conditions, including insomnia, anxiety and depression, nausea and chronic pain. With this in mind, research has shown that CBD use while suffering from arthritis can help alleviate the symptoms associated with the disease.

CBD oil has been found to benefit both pain and inflammation and is growing in popularity as a supplement used to help manage numerous conditions. Since arthritis is a form of inflammation that can cause chronic pain, CBD is used more and more commonly by people living with arthritis.

Dr Balu, scientific advisor to  Cannaray CBD and a leading UK expert on anxiety and depression disorders comments: “Inflammation is a complicated process involving many signalling pathways. An inflammatory response is an inherent answer of the body to any intervention and can be beneficial and harmful. Swelling and Pain are often manifestations of an inflammatory process.”

“Studies have shown that cannabinoids are potent anti-inflammatory agents and they exert their effects through induction of apoptosis, inhibition of cell proliferation, suppression of cytokine production and induction of T-regulatory cells. Cannabidiol, also known as CBD, is among the most abundant of all cannabinoids.”

“Cannabinoids have exhibited the significant potential to be used as novel anti-inflammatory agents and specific targeting of CB2 receptors holds the promise of mediating immunosuppressive effects without exerting psychotropic side effects.”
