Carol Martin-Sperry is a psychotherapist with 35 years of experience. Her training was psychodynamic but her practice is flexible and pragmatic.
She is able to offer therapy to the French-speaking community in London. She is also a French literary translator and she runs a supervision group for the workers in a refugee charity.
She has an MA in psychodynamic psychotherapy from Roehampton University. She attended the Lycee Francais de Londres and University College London.
She is also a sex therapist and has written three books about relationships and sexual issues: Couples and Sex: An Introduction to Relationship Dynamics and Psychosexual Concepts; Good Sex Bad Sex No Sex; Sexual Healing: Stories and Insights from the Therapist’s Couch.
Carol worked for many years as a media consultant and expert in print, television, and radio. She has written several articles for the press. She was profiled in the Guardian and the Evening Standard.
