What are the Cardiff School of Psychology International Scholarships?
The Scholarships consist of a £5000 award spread over your degree. Last year students received around £20,000 in Scholarships.
Who is eligible to apply for the Scholarships?
All international students (EU not included) who enrol in the first year of the Psychology or Psychology with Professional Placement programme as full fee-paying students of international fee status, and who can demonstrate academic and extracurricular achievement (see below).
What are the criteria for winning the award?
Upon receipt of an offer, applicants may enter the selection process. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and extracurricular achievement. The application form for the award can be found here. Applications must be received no later than July 15th.
How does the award work?
Successful applicants will receive £1000 deduction from their first year fees and a £2000 deduction from their second and final year fees. Continuation of the award in the second and final year is contingent on obtaining a 60% end-of-year average in Years 1 and 2.
