Get Animated+Medical, an animation and creative healthcare agency that brings science and medical brands to life through the art of visual storytelling, has scooped its 18th award in just three months.

With a rise in digital technology to connect, inform, and engage in the pharmaceutical sector post-pandemic, the business has been hard at work creating an impressive showreel of animated videos, many of which have received industry acclaim from leading creative competitions.

Championing a focus on making complex information more accessible to the modern healthcare professional and their patients, thanks to innovative communication and digital solutions, the team at Get Animated+Medical has thrived during the pandemic.

With the ability to impart often complex information in an easy to digest format and make it accessible and easy to understand for all, Get Animated+Medical began its award-winning streak in March 2021 at the prestigious PM Society Awards. The company took home bronze in the ‘Disease Awareness for HCPs’ category and a silver award for the ‘Film and Animation aimed at HCPs’ category.

More recognition followed in April at the Muse Creative Awards with a further three prizes being won. These included gold in the ‘Healthcare & Pharma’ category, silver in the ‘Best Medical Video’ category, and platinum for their Microworld platform in the ‘Educational Video’ category.

A further 13 awards were soon to follow at the Communicator Awards, the Telly Awards, the NYX Awards, Hermes Creative Awards, and the Vega Digital Awards with more platinum, gold, and distinction honours filling the trophy cabinet.

Gabriella Brown, Animated+Medical director of clients, said: ‘It truly is fantastic that, as a team, we have been recognised for our vision, creative delivery, and storytelling abilities. We could, of course, not do this without the wonderful trust and support of our partners, who are courageous enough to join us on a journey to uncover the soul that resonates in every project.’

Managing director, Christopher Kennedy, said: ‘We are thoroughly proud of our recent cluster of awards, which are a credit to the whole team. What really means the most to us is that the judges at the PM Society Awards, the MUSE Creative Awards, the Communicator Awards, the Telly Awards, the Hermes Creative Awards, and the Vega Digital Awards all felt that our work stood out for answering unmet needs in a truly memorable way.

‘Any communication project we, as an industry, invest our efforts into should do exactly this – answer an unmet need – whether supporting our HCPs with optimal management of their patients, assisting them to overcome challenges within their own services, or providing materials to help patients feel more informed, reassured, and more empowered at often an extremely tough period in their lives.’

Following this recent success, Get Animated+Medical is continuing to strive towards outstanding service, award-winning creativity, and innovative solutions for clients. Its ultimate goal is to be recognised as the UK’s leading animation, gamification, and creative healthcare agency.

With the ability to partner with industry colleagues, Get Animated+Medical is proud of its ability to deliver a creative solution with true value to the healthcare sector via targeted content and will continue to serve the needs of clients with innovative animations that inspire, support, and engage.
