After 25 years working in the Department of Health and the NHS, John McKenzie retrained as a clinical hypnotherapist, working in the Cheshire area. McKenzie holds a Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma from the National Council for Hypnotherapy, and he is proud to adhere to the Council’s strict code of conduct.
McKenzie finds his work extremely rewarding, as many of his clients have already tried and failed with other types of therapy, and he can often help them change their lives for the better. Whether you are desperate to stop smoking or keen to build up your confidence, hypnotherapy can help you achieve the result you have always wanted.
Cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy refers to a combination of hypnotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and is an extremely powerful tool to help recognise and change unwanted behaviour patterns or habits.
He tailor all his treatments to the individual case, and use a combination of techniques to help you achieve the best possible result. McKenzie normally see patients at my clinics in Northwich and Hale, but he is happy to travel within a 25 mile radius, and can see you at your own home or place of work if it is more convenient.
