He has a specialist interest in counselling clients with bipolar disorders, anxiety and anxiety-based depression as well as working with couples and in employing psychotherapeutic interventions as appropriate.

He has developed a TA Diagram for use specifically in couples’ therapy which offers clients a visual guide for understanding and navigating their process of interpersonal relationship and communication.   Currently he is developing a series of creative and interactive workshops for clients with anxiety or anxiety-related depression.

As co-founder of Emerge Therapy, with Nathan Gould, he delivers Anger Management Programmes, and is currently as part of a Pilot Study investigating the effectiveness of Transactional Analysis Counselling in reducing the symptoms of anger in psychoeducational anger management programme group settings.
